Coffman and Company, P.C. was formed in 1987 by Dan Coffman in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Throughout the years, steady growth and consistent staffing has led to the addition of five partners and approximately 20 total staff. In 2005, an opportunity arose for Coffman and Company, P.C. to purchase the tax and audit practice of a sole proprietor in Springfield, Missouri. This has resulted in tremendous growth for our company. Coffman and Company, P.C. is a full service CPA firm, with a wealth of knowledge in tax, auditing and business services. Our technological advances, as well as our multiple locations, allow us the flexibility to devote substantial resources to all of our clients in order to fulfill our responsibilities in a timely manner.  We have instituted a complete series of procedures and policies designed to ensure the highest degree of quality, ethics and professionalism. The following are but a few of the most important control procedures and policies implemented in our practice: Our firm obtains a quality peer review of our audit and accounting practice every three years. Documentation of management and supervision from the lowest level at our firm to the highest. Continuing professional education in all fields of no less than 40 hours per year with at least 24 of those hours in the area of government for managers involved in governmental audits.
